everything is a bit better now. not much buti hope it will at least stay that way.

that a nice coincidence with the arabic thing! my interest startet with a friend who invited me to smoke shisha. since then i did that more and more often i also heard the language everytime because of the restaurant we were mostly smoking in is managed by arabians, and also arabic music is played there.

so i was surrounded by arabic culture every time and i started to listen to that kind of music and also looked for free learning materials (which is not easy to find) and also bought a shisha myself...

a huge thx to everybody who writes me such nice comments.... love you folks!!

yeah... advice....

1: i obviously cant help you with the scanner problem! only a new/better one helps.

2: to become better: theres just one advice i can give you, but its not very satisfactory: practice. thats the most reliable method. if you earn skills by practicing you better know how to handle the different techniques and to use them to have things turn out like you want them to.

also some people say that the different tutorials (esp. for photoshop and stuff) that are on dA and other internet sites can be a good help, but i dont know that. i like to try things out myself and if i placed a certain effort in learning something on myself, i appreciate the result of my work more than with just reading the tutorials. decide yourself...

besides im not the best to ask, there are much better artists here on dA. they can maybe help you better. nonetheless i hope it helps you a little.
